Oregon-Davis Students to Hold Mini Relay for Life

Oregon-Davis students engage in a fight against cancer every year with the Mini Relay for Life event on campus.  This year will be their 15th annual event with funds going to the American Cancer Society.

School officials say students walk during one class period on Friday, May 10 where they learn from instructors about ways to stay healthy to help prevent cancer.  The students work hard to collect money as part of the abbreviated American Cancer Society event and the money will be donated to the organization on behalf of Oregon-Davis Schools.

Friday, May 10 expects to be filled with music, games, class banners, and luminaria bags decorated by students that honors a family member or friend with cancer.

The day begins at 7:25 a.m. at the school as students make an impact in the community.
