Starke County Commissioners to Meet Tonight

The Starke County Commissioners plan to hold additional readings on the alarm system regulation ordinance as well as the dog noise abatement ordinance tonight. 

Highway Superintendent Rik Ritzler will present his monthly report to the commissioners.  He joins County Attorney Marty Lucas in updating the commissioners on the Regional Stellar Communities Designation Program.  EMS Director Travis Clary and Clerk Mary Lynn Ritchie will have a regular update along with Starke County Economic Development Executive Director Larry Wickert.

Knox City Clerk-Treasurer Jeff Houston and ICE Miller representative Patricia Miller expect to discuss a resolution for economic development projects.

Discussions on security will continue in addition to an internal controls committee appointment and a BZA appointment.  The commissioners will also talk about the comprehensive plan and a Community Services of Starke County agreement.

The Starke County Commissioners will meet at 6 p.m. CT tonight in the meeting room in the Starke County Annex No. 1 building at 53 E. Mound Street in Knox.
