The first Concert in the Park of the season will be held on the Wythogan Park Performance stage at 7 p.m. tonight.
Knox Mayor Dennis Estok provided a reminder about the event during this week’s city council meeting. The band MGB will put on a show with a mix of Rock n Roll and Country tunes from the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s.
People are encouraged to bring their own blanket or lawn chairs for seating. This event is free to attend and there’s no cost for parking. The concession stand will be open to provide event-goers with tasty snacks and beverages during the concert.
