Undercover Drug Investigation Produces Warrant, Suspect Arrested

A North Judson resident is in the Starke County Jail after a drug investigation by undercover narcotics officers. 

According to the Starke County Sheriff’s Department, 23-year-old Christianson Shepherd was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant Monday, June 3 on suspicion of selling heroin to undercover narcotics officers.  The report indicates the alleged acts occurred on numerous occasions.

Shepherd is being held in the Starke County Jail on a $50,000 surety bond. 

Starke County Sheriff Bill Dulin said that his office is placing emphasis on drug dealers and their associates within our community where more arrests are anticipated.

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
