Culver Town Council to Meet Tonight

The Culver Town Council members will meet tonight where they will consider the first reading of an ordinance that would enact and adopt a supplement to the code of ordinances concerning an emergency declaration.  They will also review an ordinance that amends the zoning and subdivision ordinance.

The council members will also look at a resolution authorizing the issuance of individual procurement cards.  A presentation was given by Katie Aeschliman from BMO Harris Bank during the last meeting.  The Pcards would be more convenient for employees when booking rooms for conferences, paying for meals while out on approved conferences, or immediate purchases with authorization by the council or Clerk-Treasurer Karen Heim.  The cards would be checked out from the office with a set amount of money on the card. When the transaction is complete, Heim could turn off the card.

The town council will also get an update on the Marshall County Crossroads Regional Stellar Initiative as well as projects within Culver’s Stellar Communities Designation plans.  Department heads will also deliver regular reports.

The Culver Town Council will meet tonight at 6:30 p.m. ET at the Culver Town Hall at 200 E. Washington Street.
