Eastern Pulaski, Oregon-Davis School Boards Approve New Hires

As the start of the school year approaches, local school corporations are working to finalize their staffs. Both the Oregon-Davis and Eastern Pulaski school boards met in special session Monday to approve some new hires.

Three hires were finalized by the O-D School Board, according to Superintendent Dr. Don Harman. “We hired Mrs. Susie Norwich to be our speech pathologist, and that will be a half-time position for Susie,” Harman explains. “We also hired a new Spanish teacher, Vincenzo Carrasco, and then we hired a Mrs. Sara Wells to be a social studies teacher at our high school.” Harman says Oregon-Davis still has one open position to fill.

At Eastern Pulaski, Akacia Zerbee was employed as an elementary school special education teacher, and Sarah Paulsen was hired as a Spanish teacher, according to Interim Superintendent Dr. Gib Crimmins.
