The finishing touches are being put on Winamac’s water project. Town Manager Brad Zellers told the town council Monday that he expects the final bills to arrive by the end of the month.
“A few items, they’re trying to button up on, so hopefully, in a week, it ought to be behind us,” he said. “Everything seems to be working pretty good.”
The project includes new wells and well houses, plus a new water line to connect them to the existing system.
