The Winamac Town Council considered a job description for an Interim Wastewater Superintendent position as well as an associated resolution when members met for their August meeting.
The job description summary presented to members states the individual in the position is responsible for accomplishing tasks related to the operation and maintenance of the wastewater treatment plant and the wastewater and stormwater sewer collection systems for the town of Winamac.
It also noted the job will be appointed by the Winamac Town Council in January of each year.
The associated resolution allowed the position and job description to be put in place.
Both documents were passed without any opposition from the council.
