Culver Town Council to Meet Tonight

The Culver Town Council will receive an update on the East Shore Corporation and its efforts to address wastewater issues when members meet tonight.  Corporation officials have been hauling wastewater from its wetland disbursement system to be treated in the town’s wastewater system since August.

An ordinance that would amend the zoning and subdivision ordinance will be considered as well as a request from Cord Associates to dis-annex W. Cass Street.  Plans for that property on Cass Street near Cavalier Drive included a proposed daycare facility.

Updates on the Culver Stellar Communities Designation projects will be provided as well as the county’s movement toward Regional Stellar status.  Department heads will also provide updates to the town council on any projects or information.

The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. tonight at the Culver Town Hall at 200 E. Washington Street in Culver.
