The installation of a sewer line on School Street in Culver will cause the road to close between Academy Road and State Road 10 beginning Monday, Sept. 16.
The sewer line will be installed as part of the Cavalier Sports Park project on the grounds of the Culver Community School Corporation.
The Cavalier Sports Park project includes improvements to the soccer fields on school grounds, expanding the parking lots, moving the storm water retention pond to the east, building a restroom facility near the fields, and adding a toddler park and a walking trail around the park.
Town officials stress that the drives to the Culver Community Middle/High School will be accessible during the project. In later planning, the same section of road will be closed for crosswalk work. The timeline of that project has not been set.
