Tyler Radtke Named Knox Middle School Assistant Principal

Knox Middle School has a new assistant principal. Tyler Radtke was officially appointed to the position by the school board Tuesday.

He told board members that he and his family are thankful for the opportunity. “I’m just excited to get to work – my first day will be Friday at 7:00 a.m. – and getting into the building and start working with our kids as soon as possible, with their families, and you’ll see me around as much as possible getting to meet everyone,” Radtke said. “So thank you for this opportunity.”

Radtke noted that he’s been in education for 13 years. Principal Jake Skelly commented that Radtke’s enthusiasm is contagious, and his will to help kids is unbelievable.

Radtke replaces Josh Pugh, who left to take over as assistant principal at Culver Community Middle/High School. Pugh’s resignation was officially accepted by the Knox School Board during Tuesday’s meeting.
