Pulaski County CDC to Continue Discussing Path Forward, Following Staffing Cut

The Pulaski County Community Development Commission will meet tonight for the first time since the county council cut funding for one of its two staff members.

Last week, the council narrowly approved a 2020 budget without funding for a CDC project coordinator. Tonight, CDC members will continue discussing their path forward.

They’ll also discuss the proposed Leadership Pulaski County class. It’s been in the works for years and was finally set to launch in the coming months, but the elimination of the project coordinator position has put that in doubt.

The CDC will also consider a Revolving Loan Fund request from a local business and review the at-large member appointment process in the CDC bylaws. Tonight’s Pulaski County CDC meeting starts at 6:30 EDT in the Winamac Municipal Utilities Complex.
