West Central School Board Adopts 2020 Budget

The West Central School Board members took action Thursday night to adopt the 2020 budget.

No comments were offered during the West Central School Board’s recent budget hearing. The proposed 2020 budget features about $9.8 million. Just over $5 million of that will be the Education Fund, and nearly $3.4 million is being proposed for the Operations Fund.

Superintendent Dan Zylstra previously commented that enrollment is down slightly this school year which shouldn’t have a significant impact on the 2020 budget.

The budget now goes to the Department of Local Government Finance for review.
