The Starke County Election Board members will discuss Vote Center locations with the Starke County Commissioners when the commissioners meet tonight. The commissioners urged the election board members to move quickly on switching to a Vote Center county by the May 2020 election for the convenience of voters.
The commissioners are also expected to review health insurance quotes for county employees, review several documents submitted by Recorder Mandy Thomason, and consider a financial request from CASA.
Regular reports will be given by Starke County Highway Superintendent Rik Ritzler and Starke County EMS Director Travis Clary.
Tonight’s Starke County Commissioners meeting begins at 6 p.m. CT in the ground floor meeting room in Starke County Annex Building No. 1 at 53 E. Mound Street in Knox.
