Winamac Man Arrested For Reportedly Possessing Child Pornography

The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office and Winamac Police Department recently assisted the Department of Homeland Security and Indiana State Police with serving a federal arrest warrant to a Winamac man accused of possessing child pornography.

According to authorities, those agencies served the warrant in the 200 block of West Jefferson Street in Winamac on Tuesday, November 19th.

Police say that 36-year-old Terry O. Cottrell was taken into custody at the residence as a result of the federal arrest warrant for possession of child pornography.

The investigation resulting in the charges was conducted by ISP and the Department of Homeland Security. The possession of child pornography charges came after search warrants were reportedly served at the Winamac residence.
