A Winamac Community High School student was recently named by the Community Foundation of Pulaski County as 2020 Lilly Endowment Community Scholar.
Ryan Huggler was chosen as this year’s recipient of a full-tuition, four-year scholarship to an Indiana college of his choice and a $900 yearly stipend for required books and equipment.
Huggler is involved in many sports at the school as well as school and community organizations. A press release submitted by the Community Foundation of Pulaski County mentions that Huggler started his own business with a friend in an effort to help elderly people and busy parents. The initiative has provided jobs to several youth the community.
Huggler intends to obtain a degree in Accounting.
