With plenty of places around the City of Knox decked out with decorations there are a plethora of potential participants for this year’s Holiday Decorating Contest.
Mayor Dennis Estok shared on Tuesday night that the deadline to register is coming up quick. Residents only have until Monday, December 16th to have their name added to the list of homes that will be judged during the contest.
The judging will take place on Wednesday, December 18th from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. so be sure to have your lights on during that time.
If you don’t get your name on the list, you will not be eligible for the prizes. The third place winner will receive $25, the second place winner will get $50 and the top prize for the first place winner is $100. Winners will be notified by Friday, December 20th.
