Culver Town Council to Meet Tonight

The Culver Town Council members will meet tonight where they will further discuss a request made by the East Shore Corporation to lower the amount the corporation is paying to treat waste from the failed wetland disbursement site in the Culver Wastewater Treatment Facility.

In a previous discussion, Brian Welch from the East Shore Corporation proposed lowering the fee of eight-cents-per-gallon to five-cents-per-gallon with a subcommittee proposal of six-cents-per-gallon.  The request was tabled from the last meeting so the full council membership could vote on the matter.

The council will also reorganize with board and commission appointments to be made.  The attorney’s contract will also be up for council approval.

The town council will consider a special event policy update as well as an update to the trash and recycling bid.  Updates on the Regional and Local Stellar programs will be given in addition to updates from all of the department heads.

The Culver Town Council members will meet at 6:30 p.m. ET tonight at the Culver Town Hall at 200 E. Washington Street.
