Culver Town Council to Meet Tonight, Special Meeting Set for Thursday

The Culver Town Council members will meet tonight where they will review an ordiance that would outline charges for fire services.

Culver Town Manager Jonathan Leist will update the council on Regional and town Stellar Communities Designation plans, plus the council will be updated on department activities by the various department heads, and board and commission members.

The Culver Town Council will meet tonight at 6:30 p.m. ET at the Culver Town Hall at 200 E. Washington Street.

In addition to this meeting, the council will hold a special session on Thursday, Jan. 30 at 5:30 p.m. ET to discuss and take action on an East Shore Corporation sewer contract.  Corporation officials are looking to hook a Conservancy District to the town’s Wastewater Treatment Facility system to treat the waste from the estimated 100 homes in the area.  A wetland disbursement system utilized by those residents failed last year.  A current contract allows waste to be hauled to the town for treatment.
