Knox Middle School Principal Reports Over $1,000 Worth of Donations to Redskins Closet

A student-led effort to make sure classmates have access to toiletries, clothing, and other necessities is off to a good start. Knox Middle School Principal Jake Skelly told the school board Tuesday that the Redskins Closet is going extremely well.

“We’ve had over $1,000 of items or clothing or money donated to this program from community members, businesses,” Skelly said. “Thank you so much.”

The Redskins Closet is located at Knox Middle School, but the goal is to serve elementary and high school students, as well. Skelly also thanked Teacher Amie Flora for helping to organize it.
