NJ Town Marshal Updates Town Council On Newest Full-Time Officer’s Progress

North Judson Town Marshal Kelly Fisher provided council members with an update about the newest addition to the full-time force when they met Monday Night.

Clerk-Treasurer Andrew Rowe noted that the newest full-time officer, Keaton Leszek recently reached a few milestones.

He noted, “Deputy Keaton Leszek has went to NILEA (Northern Indiana Law Enforcement Academy) which is the Academy for the state and he got his physical test and passed. He begins his sixteen week training on Monday (January 13th) so he’ll be there for awhile.

While he is attending the 16 weeks of training, Clerk-Treasurer Rowe said the Department will rely on reserve officers and part-time assistance to fill any open shifts.

Leszek previously served as a part-time officer for the NJ Police Department and was promoted to full-time status back in October.
