Starke County EMS Director Highlights Personnel Changes and Recent Charitable Effort

There are some new faces on the Starke County EMS Department, according to the report that Director Travis Clary delivered to County Commissioners Monday night.

He explained, “I’ve hired two part-time EMTs and one part-time paramedic to help our roster.”

Director Clary said he hopes to have those employees out of the orientation phase by the second week of January. Clary also noted that a full-time EMT recently resigned and indicated that the open position should be filled soon.

In addition to discussing personnel, Clary informed commissioners about a recent charitable effort that the Department participated in this holiday season.

Kids Closet Director Linda Lewandowski personally thanked Director Clary and the EMS Department in a post on the organization’s social media page.
