Culver Town Council to Meet Tonight

The Culver Town Council members expect to review a contract with the East Shore Corporation when they meet tonight.

East Shore Corporation officials are looking to hook a Conservancy District to the town’s Wastewater Treatment Facility system to treat the waste from the estimated 100 homes in the area.  A wetland disbursement system utilized by those residents failed last year.  They hope to get the system up and running by the start of the summer peak season in Culver in May.

The town council members also look to open bids for the Community Crossings paving and storm water projects and consider the second and third reading of an ordinance that creates fire charges for service.

An economic development plan will be discussed along with the Marshall County Economic Development Corporation contract, and updates on the Regional Stellar Plan, Culver Stellar Plan and from the department heads.

The Culver Town Council members will meet at 6:30 p.m. ET tonight following a work session at 5 p.m. ET that will cover the topics of private fire protection fees and a contract from the Marshall County Economic Development Corporation.  The meetings will be held at the Culver Town Hall at 200 E. Washington Street.
