Armed Robbery Reported at Knox Business, Two Suspects in Custody

Two suspects are in custody following the report of an armed robbery at a business in Knox Friday night.

Knox City Police say officers were called to Advanced Auto Parts on South Heaton Street shortly after 8:30 p.m. CT on a report of an armed robbery.  Two African American males were reportedly armed with a gun.  They left the scene and were later apprehended in Winamac by officers from the Winamac Police Department, according to police.

More information will be released as it becomes available.  The incident remains under investigation.

Suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
