Indiana Records Nearly 50 COVID-19 Related Deaths

In its latest round of COVID-19 statistics, the Indiana State Department of Health released that 49 deaths are now attributed to COVID-19. 

A total of 13,373 tests have been provided with 2,159 of those coming back with a positive result.  That increases the total amount of people diagnosed with COVID-19 of 374 from Monday’s report.

Starke County remains at one positive case of COVID-19 while Marshall County remains at three cases, Jasper County has eight, Kosciusko County has five Fulton County has one case, La Porte County has eight, Porter County has 21, Lake County has 146, and St. Joseph County has 49.  Marion County has the most cases at 964.  Pulaski County has yet to record its first case.  Pulaski County is one of 11 counties that have not reported a positive case of COVID-19. 

Statistics from the Indiana State Department of Health indicate that the age groups most affected from COVID-19 are 50-59 and 60-69.
