Starke County has its first case of COVID-19. The Starke County Health Department announced a presumptive positive case of the novel coronavirus Monday morning. The Health Department says the patient is self-isolating and home, and no additional information about the person will be released due to privacy laws.
The Starke County Health Department says it’s working with local and state officials to identify and monitor those who’ve been in contact with the patient. Steps are also being taken to make sure all infection control protocols are being followed.
