West Central School Corporation Announces eLearning Plans

The West Central School Corporation has announced its eLearning plans. Starting April 7, eLearning days will be held every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday until at least April 30. That pattern would continue to the end of the school year, if the closure would have to be extended beyond May 1.

Take-home meals will continue to be provided on school days as an essential service. School officials plan to distribute devices to students in kindergarten through third grade and paper-based instructional materials next week, but they’re still working on the exact plans. The school corporation says teachers are busy adjusting their instruction to online delivery and that they’re eager to make it a success.
