Governor, State Health Commissioner Proud of Efforts during Pandemic

In this uncertain time, Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb and the State Health Commissioner Dr. Kris Box are impressed with the efforts of Hoosiers to come together during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dr. Box stated in Governor Eric Holcomb’s press briefing Friday afternoon that it’s difficult to look beyond the sobering numbers COVID-19 has inflicted on Hoosiers, but the way all agencies, industries, businesses, healthcare providers, and residents are working together is astounding.

She is also impressed at how healthcare systems and long-term care facilities have worked together to help see everyone through this pandemic.  She stressed that everyone is doing what they can to limit the number of lives lost in the state due to COVID-19.

Governor Holcomb said state officials saw what was coming and responded.  He urged people to stay at home to keep everyone safe.  He noted that people are responding to the State and asking how they can contribute to make a difference in saving lives.

He ended that thought with Hoosiers are #INthistogether.
