New Reports Show over 200 COVID-19 Deaths in Indiana

Another 439 positive COVID-19 cases were reported to the Indiana State Department of Health, according to Wednesday’s daily update.  The update also noted that 203 Hoosiers have died as a result of COVID-19.

The total number of residents in Indiana known to have the novel coronavirus is now 5,943. 

To date, 30,869 tests have been reported to the Indiana State Department of Health. 

Starke County has six positive cases of COVID-19, Marshall County has 11, and Pulaski County has one.  St. Joseph County has 142 positive cases and one death, La Porte County has 28 positive cases and three deaths, Porter County has 85 positive cases, Fulton County has three cases, Kosciusko County has 16 cases, and Jasper County has 14 positive cases and one death. 

Marion County has the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 2,290 while Lake County reports 491 positive cases. 

As far as how many tests have been conducted, Starke County performed 49 tests, Marshall County 41, Pulaski County 36, St. Joseph County 437, La Porte 431, Porter County 671, Fulton County 37, Kosciusko County 208, and Jasper County 181.
