Starke County Government Mobile Food Program to begin Tuesday

The Starke County Government Mobile Food Program is anticipated to roll out on Tuesday, April 28.

This program allows Starke County residents a chance to have food delivered to their homes who otherwise cannot afford it.  The program is open to residents affected by COVID-19, senior citizens, or residents who are quarantined.

An order form will be uploaded to Starke County website at www.co.starke.in.us. If internet access is not available, call the Starke County Clerk’s Office at 574-772-9128 and a staff member can help complete the form.  Basic information will be requested along with a choice of two selections of essential groceries or hot food items from local restaurants.  The order will be submitted for review and then the food will be delivered to the person’s home the following day.

The first day for orders will be Monday, April 27 with delivery on Tuesday, April 28.
