An Additional 354 COVID-19 Cases Reported in Indiana

The number of statewide positive COVID-19 cases on Monday was 354 as reported by the Indiana State Department of Health during a period of May 19 to May 24 through testing from the Indiana State Department of Health, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and private laboratories.  The cumulative total is 31,715. 

Eight more COVID-19 deaths were reported during a period of May 23 and May 24 which brings the total to 1,832.  The number of probable deaths is 152, based on clinical diagnoses in patients where no positive test was on record. 

Marshall County reported 64 positive COVID-19 cases, Pulaski County reported 39 cases and Starke County reported 31, which remains unchanged from Sunday’s report.  La Porte County reported an increase in cases where the total there is 408.

A total of 226,251 tests have been reported to the Indiana State Department of Health since March 6.
