Starke County Council, Commissioners to Meet Today

The Starke County Council and Starke County Commissioners will meet for their regular meetings this morning which can be seen on YouTube.

The Starke County Council members will consider a request from the North Judson-San Pierre School Corporation and Starke County Sheriff Bill Dulin will initiate a discussion about the drug buy money fund.

Following the council meeting, the commissioners will hear from Katie Clark regarding the Broadband Plan, bids will be opened for the Range Road and 250 N. project, and Sheriff Dulin will present a request to purchase a squad car and apply for a grant.  The commissioners will also talk about a website for the Starke County Park Board, and talk more about the COVID-19 relief funds, IT assistant pay and the GIS Contract.

The commissioners held discussion at their last meeting about the vacation of Lots 140, 149 and 148 on behalf of Argento, LLC, represented by Tom DeCola.  It was the decision of the commissioners at that time to look at the properties before making a decision on the requests.

Both meetings will begin at 9 a.m. CT and can be viewed live on YouTube.
