West Central school officials announced a procedure to close out the remainder of the school year.
The school will offer a drop-off/pick-up procedure on the last two days of the school year so students can return computers and pick up their belongings.
On May 19 and May 20, parents will drive up to the high school entrance or the elementary school entrance, give a name, and items will be brought to the car. Staff members have cleared out all lockers and placed the items in a bag which will be handed out on those dates.
Student Chromebooks and corresponding accessories, along with any textbooks or library books should be handed in at the same time. Failure to return the devices will result in a charge to the family.
If students have medications at the school, call the school nurse at 219-567-9741 ext. 1004 and leave a message. A schedule for pick-up will be determined.
More information will be released as the end of school nears.
