North Judson-Wayne Township Library Given Contest Prize

The North Judson-Wayne Township Public Library is the recipient of the Keeping Mint Alive contest prize money

With the cancellation of the Mint Festival this year, the Mint Festival Committee members put together a decorating contest for homes and businesses that would show that residents are “Keeping Mint Alive” this year.

Mint Festival President Donna Henry said there were no entries for this year’s contest, but saw that the library pages completed a window painting to go with the Summer Reading program.  Henry said the library did not want to compete, but the committee decided to award the library with the first place prize for their effort.
