Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum Hosting Fourth of July Train Excursion, History Camp

Celebrate Heritage Day with the volunteers at the Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum in North Judson this Saturday.

On the museum grounds, living history reenactors will provide stories, and military vehicles will be on site provided by the Military Preservation Society.  The reenactors will be from the 1st Georgia Light Artillery, 5th Armored Division, and 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment.

In addition, train rides will take visitors on a round-trip excursion from the depot to English Lake and across the Kankakee River before returning to the depot.  Trains depart at 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. CT.

Advanced train reservations are recommended, as seating is limited due to COVID-19 guidelines.  For more information or to make a reservation, visit www.hoosiervalley.org or call 574-896-3950.  The museum is always free.
