Two Additional COVID-19 Deaths Recorded in Marshall County, Case Numbers Increase

Two additional Marshall County residents have died as a result of COVID-19 in the latest report from the Indiana State Department of Health.

The total number of people who have died from COVID-19 in Marshall County is 16.  No other local deaths were reported, but health officials say 22 total deaths were recorded statewide that occurred between June 19 and July 21.

In Wednesday’s report, Marshall County’s positive COVID-19 case numbers increased by 11 to 682, Pulaski County’s case numbers increase by two to an overall total of 69, and Starke County’s total case numbers remains at 141. 

Another 763 people in the state have tested positive for COVID-19 bringing the total to 58,673. 

Two testing sites will open again this week at the Plymouth Wesleyan Church and at the Knox High School.  The sites will be open through Saturday, July 25 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. local time.  Any Indiana resident over the age of 12 is welcome to be tested for free.
