Eastern Pulaski School Board Reorganizes

The Eastern Pulaski School Corporation reorganized their board during their meeting Monday.

Eastern Pulaski School Superintendent Dara Chezem told WKVI News re-elected board members Aaron Campbell, Joe Cunningham and Tim Rausch were sworn in during the meeting. She said the board then elected Tim Rausch as President. Aaron Campbell as Vice President and Beth Crawford as Secretary.

It was noted Rob Zeider tendered his resignation as board member effective January 31. Superintendent Chezem said Zeider is a former teacher and also a former teacher’s association member who has a teacher and administrative license. She said he brought great perspective to the board and thanked him for all he has done for Eastern Pulaski students and staff.

The Eastern Pulaski School Board will have 30 days to fill the vacant seat once Zeider steps down at the end of this month. Superintendent Chezem stated anyone interested in filling the seat must live within Van Buren Township and would need to submit a letter of interest to the superintendent’s office at Eastern Pulaski School Corporation.

The board hopes to fill the soon to be vacant seat by the end of February.
