The Pulaski County Commissioners heard an update from the Community Foundation of Pulaski County during their meeting Monday.
Community Foundation of Pulaski County Executive Director Leeann Wright announced the Indiana Communities Institute from Ball State University will be coming to Pulaski County in May and June to facilitate community listening sessions. She stated they will be held for five consecutive Thursdays beginning May 23 and will be held in Winamac, Francesville, Star City, Medaryville and Monterey.
Wright said the Indiana Communities Institute will compile the information gathered at these events into a strategic visioning report that will be shared with the commissioners for their consideration in their work. Wright encouraged the commissioners to attend one of the sessions as well as encourage their constituents to also attend. She stated the Community Foundation of Pulaski County wants to work together in envisioning the future of Pulaski County.
