The St. Thomas Aquinas Conference of the St. Vincent de Paul Society embarked on a Thanksgiving project this week, to help those in need in order to have a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner. The Conference is donating 10 $100 gift cards to needy families to purchase the turkey and all the trimmings.

The St. Thomas Aquinas conference of the St. Vincent de Paul Society was formed in January of 2014 to help alleviate some of the financial needs of those in the community. To date, the conference has donated well over $20,000 to families or individuals in need of financial assistance for rent, utilities, food, transportation, medication, housing and other areas of need. If you are in a bind, and have a bill that you can’t pay, you can call the St. Vincent de Paul at 574-806-0431, and a team of two will visit you and determine how they can help.
