Kenneth L. “Kenny” Holbrook, 68, of Winamac, IN passed away at 9:40 AM Thursday, July 18, 2019 at Franciscan Health Lafayette East Hospital. He was born on February 6, 1951 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Cash and Vivian Tuley Holbrook. Kenny graduated from Winamac High School in 1969. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. On September 11, 1976, Kenny married Anne Schmicker at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Winamac. She survives.
Kenny was a member of the Winamac VFW Post #1728 and St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Winamac. As owner of Holbrook’s Market, he found great joy in interacting with the customers he served. Kenny was a hard worker and took great pride in a job well done. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially camping, gardening and grilling out. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed watching sports on TV. Most of all, Kenny loved spending time with his family, especially being Grampa to Abigail. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be from 2-7 PM EDT Sunday, July 21, 2019 at Frain Mortuary in Winamac, IN.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 AM EDT Monday, July 22, 2019 at Frain Mortuary in Winamac, IN with Rev. Edward Clark officiating.
Burial will take place at Winamac Cemetery in Winamac, IN. The American Legion and VFW will conduct Military Graveside Services.
