Mathew Gene Blount “Stamper” of Knox, IN, age 20, born July 19, 2001, date of death October 16, 2021, at South Bend Memorial Hospital.
Surviving are his parents Dawn Stamper (Jeremy Jackson) and Mathew Stamper of North Judson. He is preceded in death by his Grandpa Daniel Blount Lance “Bo” Hale. Surviving is his Grandma Annetta Hale of North Judson, Gene and Carol Stamper of North Judson, Sonia Clemons, Aunt Misty and Mike Baldridge of North Judson, Aunt Dannella Renae and Shelby Clemons of North Judson, Shelly Stamper of Indianapolis, Teresa and Sean Tolson of Knox, Uncle Doug and Angie Stamper of Monterey, and Uncle Steve Stamper of Knox. He worked for Earnest Tree Service, he loved his family, he will be missed. His cousins were more like brothers and sisters.
Mat enjoyed working on his cars and cruising with his mamaw. He loved his family and there was nothing he would not do for anyone if they needed it. Mathew had a heart of gold, and everyone called him either “Fatt Matt” or “Little Peanut.”
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, from 4-8pm (CST) at M.C. Smith Funeral Home with the funeral to follow the next day, Thursday October 21, 2021, at 11am (CST). Burial to follow at Highland Cemetery in North Judson, IN.
