Sans Simone “Sandy Wright” Smith, age 77, of Knox, passed away Monday, December 03, 2018 at her home.
She was born November 22, 1941 in Gary, Indiana to Edgar E. Wright and Jean Roethlisberger Wright, both deceased. On March 25, 1967 in Lake Station, she married Charles Smith, he is surviving. Also surviving are her children, Trent Smith of Valparaiso and Jamielynn Hemminger of North Judson, a sister, Doris Kibert of Knox, brothers, Ronnie Wright of Valparaiso and David Wright of Grovertown, and four grandchildren, Brittni Smith, Trinity Smith, Kobie Hemminger and Wyatt Hemminger and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 5, 2018 from 2-5pm (CT) at M.C. Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday, December 6, 2018 at 11am (CT) at M.C. Smith Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jerry Patrick Officiating. Burial will follow at Eagle Creek Cemetery in Knox.
