Semone R. Minix, age 47, of North Judson, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2019. Semone was born September 4, 1971 in Orange County, California. She had been working as a cashier at the Zip Thru Mart in Knox. On May 8, 2004 she married Gellis “Gill” Minix, he survives. Also surviving are her daughter, Emrald Nichole Brown of North Judson, step daughters, Stephanie Lillie Brooke of Toto and Michelle Rose Hutton of Knox, sisters, Tanya Helser of Warsaw and Ronda Hayter of Arizona, her step father, John Booker (Sandi) of North Judson, and 6 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael Lister and Debra Blue Lister.
A memorial service will take place Monday, June 3, 2019 at 11am, with visitation two hours prior to services, at Little Dove Baptist Church in Toto. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory on her Go Fund Me account or to Gill Minix at Mike’s Mower Mart. M.C. Smith Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
