From the North Judson Police Department:

Incidents:
05/20/11 The Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum reported to North Judson Police that entry was made into one of the sheds on the property. No items were missing, however both police and railroad workers have increased security patrols.

05/1911 The North Judson Police Department investigated a runaway report involving a 15-year-old male. The boy was located later in the evening in Jasper County and was returned to a parent. A report was furnished to the Starke County Probation Department.

05/19/11 A North Judson Dollar General employee reported to police they had a shoplifter. North Judson Police located the suspect, a 16-year-old female, who was returned to her parents and a report was furnished to the Probation Department.

05/19/11 Two North Judson juvenile female neighbors took one of their parents’ vehicle out of the garage and drove the vehicle around the block. The vehicle did strike some items and sustained damage. Both girls were released to their parents as well as the vehicle. North Judson Police completed an accident report.

05/18/11 A resident called North Judson police to report entry being made into an abandoned home in the 100 block of Sycamore Street. No items were reported missing, however the home was ransacked.

05/18/11 Windows were reported broken out of a home in the 500 block of High Street. North Judson Police are investigating the incident. The home was empty at the time.

05/19/11 Rafael Pacheco, Jr, 18, 7340 S. 1075 W., San Pierre, IN, arrested for Conversion.

05/19/11 A 16-year-old female juvenile was arrested for Conversion from Dollar General.

Pulaski County Sheriff's Department

Incidents:
05/21/11 A Winamac resident reported that her ex-boyfriend will not return items that belong to her and wants to file a theft report.

05/20/11 A out-of-town resident called and said that he has property in Pulaski County and found that some unknown person(s) has stolen his lawnmower. His neighbor also reported his lawnmower stolen the day before.

05/20/11 A caller in the Winamac area reported that a car came off of a semi-hauler and crashed into his car. The caller was not injured in the accident.

05/20/11 A resident driving in the Pulaski area reported that a three-wheel tractor hit her car and continued to travel down the road.

05/20/11 A Francesville resident reported the theft of a vehicle.

05/18/11 A resident in the Monterey area reported the theft of power tools.

05/17/11 A Winamac resident found a Social Security card and took it to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department in an attempt to find the owner.

05/21/11 Bradley W. Kough, 20, 317 S. West St., Winamac, IN, arrested on a preliminary charge of Minor Consumption. Discharged 05/22/11

05/20/11 McKenzie B. Ehrhardt, 20, 532 E. Main St., Winamac, IN, arrested on a preliminary charge of Illegal Consumption of Alcohol. Discharged 05/21/11

0520/11 Matthew Gould, 26, 2575 E. 550 S., Star City, IN, arrested on preliminary charges of Contributing to a Minor and Reckless Driving. Discharged 05/21/11

05/20/11 Raymond Bloch, 52, 8202 W. 200 S. Francesville, IN, arrested on an active arrest warrant. Discharged 05/20/11

05/18/11 Nicholas A. Burrell, 32, 10375 E. State Road 23, Walkerton, IN, arrested on a preliminary charge of Drug-Induced Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated. Discharged 05/19/11

05/17/11 Robert Clawson, 28, 5911 S. State Road 119, Star City, IN, arrested on an active arrest warrant for Failure to Appear and a Probation Violation.

From the Knox City Police Department:

Incidents:
05/23/11 A juvenile at the Knox Middle School reported the theft of a bicycle.

05/20/11 Robert Bogivich reported that he was parked in front of the New Millenium downtown and he observed a white van back into his Corvetter that was parked in front of the building.

05/19/11 Officers were called to a factory where drugs were found.

05/18/11 Brian Sheperd reported the theft of an electric razor.

Several credit card and bank fraud cases are being investigated by the Knox City Police Department.

Arrests:
05/18/11 Justin A. McDaniel, 22, 185 S. 925 E., Knox, IN, arrested on preliminary charges of Battery and Interference with Reporting a Crime.

05/18/11 Three juveniles were arrested on a preliminary charge of Illegal Consumption of Alcohol.

Incidents:
05/21/11 Sherry Everage called to report kids breaking out windows on a house at the corner of 700 East and 200 North.

05/21/11 A Trooper was notified of a resident possibly stealing construction equipment in the Ober area.

05/21/11 A resident requested an officer to report theft of services.

05/20/11 A North Judson resident flagged down an officer to report two missing radar detectors.

05/20/11 A report was given to police that the barricades were moved in the area of Range Road and 500 S. Dirtbikes and four-wheelers were going through the area where work is being done on the bridge.

05/19/11 A resident in the 11900 block of E. 50 N. in Knox reported the theft of a snow blower.

05/19/11 A resident in then 9700 block of E. 150 N. in Grovertown reported the theft of electronic items.

05/18/11 Brian from the Bass Lake Beach and Campground reported the theft of a golf cart.

05/17/11 Linda reported that a golf cart has been stolen from a camper at the Bass Lake Campground. It was attached to a camper with a cable.

05/16/11 A resident in the 11500 block of E. State Road 8 in Knox reported the theft of a vehicle.

05/21/11 David Lewandowski, 35, 8260 E. CR 550 S., Knox, IN, arrested on preliminary charges of Operating a Vehicle Dangerously While Intoxicated and Resisting Law Enforcement with a Vehicle.

05/21/11 James Darren Daniel, 540 N. 800 E., Knox, IN, arrested on a preliminary charge of Public Intoxication.

05/20/11 Randy Freet, 46, 9585 E. 200 N., Grovertown, IN, arrested on two counts of Strangulation, Domestic Battery and Interference with Reporting a Crime.

05/17/11 Douglas Beem, of Knox, was arrested on preliminary charges of Dealing Methamphetamine, Possession of Precursors to Manufacture Methamphetamine, Possession of Controlled Substances, Possession of Legend Drugs and Possession of Paraphernalia.
Myrtle Beem, of Grovertown, was arrested on preliminary charges of Dealing Methamphetamine, Possession of Precursors to Manufacture Methamphetamine, Possession of Controlled Substances, Possession of Legend Drugs and Possession of Paraphernalia.
David P, Howard, of Knox, was arrested on a preliminary charge of Visiting a Common Nuisance.

05/17/11 Tony A. Glover, 46, 106 ½ W. Market St., Nappanee, IN, arrested on a preliminary charge of Intimidation with a Deadly Weapon.

Accidents:
05/22/11 Judith Rochracher of Knox told police that she was driving south on Range Road by 450 N. in Starke County when her purse fell over. While driving, she attempted to pick it up. She looked up and almost hit a pole. She swerved to the left and drove into a ditch. The ditch was filled with water and the vehicle was completely submerged in the water. Rochracher was not injured. She was cited for expired plates and no insurance.

05/16/11 Officers responded to 504 N. Starke St. for juvenile problems.

Arrests:

05/17/11 Joseph P. Spiewak was arrested on charges of Domestic Battery.
