07/22/19 A resident on State Road 8 in Knox filed a complaint with the sheriff’s department about the neighbor’s property and trash. The resident was told to file a report with the building commissioner.

07/22/19 A burglary was reported at a home in rural North Judson.

07/22/19 A resident out at the walking trail in North Judson advised officers that the windows in her car were smashed.

07/22/19 A North Judson resident told police that he’s having issues with his neighbor’s dog.

07/22/19 A Knox resident told dispatchers that her son was just bitten by her neighbor’s dog.

07/23/19 Officers were notified of a break-in on Danker Street in Knox and now the suspect is trying to fight.

07/23/19 A rollover accident was reported on U.S. 35 and 700 N. in Hamlet.

07/23/19 A North Judson resident reported the theft of items. The subject who has the items will reportedly pay restitution.

07/23/19 Two women were given no trespass orders at a North Judson grocery store.

07/23/19 A Knox resident told dispatchers that damage was done to her car’s bumper caused by her neighbor’s dog.

07/23/19 A car vs deer accident was reported on U.S. 421 and 400 S in San Pierre.

07/24/19 A North Judson woman reported damage to a wheelbarrow and lawn mower tire.

07/24/19 A car vs deer accident was reported at 350 W. and Toto Road in North Judson.

07/24/19 A Tractor Supply employee reported a possible shoplifter.

07/24/19 A property damage accident was reported on S. Range Road and State Road 10 in North Judson.

07/24/19 A Monterey resident reported the theft of an air compressor, weed eater and other items from a shed.

07/25/19 Police were notified that a building under construction in North Judson was broken into.

07/25/19 A contractor told police that a home he’s building was broken into (separate incident).

07/25/19 A Knox resident went to the Starke County Sheriff’s Office to complain that her neighbors moved and left their animals behind.

07/25/19 A North Judson resident told dispatchers that a pool was cut with a knife as well as four tires.

07/25/19 A car vs pole was reported on State Road 8 and County Road 300 East in Knox.

07/25/19 A Knox resident was checking his ditch line and found a canvas wrapped with duct tape. The caller suspected it was a dead body. Upon further investigation, it was logs wrapped up in the canvas material.

07/26/19 A two-vehicle accident was reported at the intersection of 350 W. and 400 S. in North Judson.

07/26/19 A report came into the Sheriff’s Office of a fight at a funeral dinner. About 80 to 100 people were outside at the time. The one suspect was reportedly seen by the bartender down the street.

07/27/19 A Knox resident told police that his home was egged earlier in the day.

07/27/19 A traffic accident was reported State Road 39 in North Judson were a vehicle hit a telephone pole.

07/27/19 A North Judson resident told police that some unknown vehicle struck his mailbox

07/27/19 A North Judson resident reported an injury of a motorcycle driver.

07/27/19 A Knox resident told dispatchers that a propane tank was struck by a vehicle and the vehicle rolled on its side. There were no leaks or major damage noted on the tank.

07/27/19 A San Pierre resident called police to report that some unknown person(s) broke into her residence.

07/28/19 A Walkerton resident told dispatchers that a woman who stole her dog is refusing to give it back.

07/28/19 A Monterey resident said that a home he manages has been vandalized with sand and gasoline all over inside.

07/28/19 A patron at an establishment at Bass Lake asked for an officer as he felt he was abused by the bartender. Dispatchers indicated that he was in a pink shirt waiting for an officer outside with his beer.

07/28/19 A Knox resident said his wife is at a campsite and she’s upset that he doesn’t want to go home. He said she threatened to run her van into his pickup truck if he doesn’t leave with her. He wasn’t going to leave as he had been drinking. She ended up leaving the site without him.

07/28/19 A Monterey resident notified officials that she went to check on her brother’s house and found two cars missing along with her brother’s checkbook.
