Incidents:

08/19/19 A caller asked if an officer could check on a few animals who appear malnourished.

08/19/19 A North Judson resident reported the theft of a 16’ bumper pull trailer

08/20/19 An inmate escaped custody after being treated for seizures. Bradley Smith was later captured in Hendricks County.

08/20/19 Two mopeds were reported stolen from a Walkerton business.

08/20/19 A North Judson resident reported the theft of faucets.

08/21/19 A two-vehicle accident was reported in the 8,000 N. block of State Road 23 in Walkerton.

08/21/19 A property damage vehicle accident was reported at State Road 8 and State Road 23 in Knox.

08/21/19 A personal injury car accident was reported in the 1000 S. block of Heaton Street in Knox. One person was airlifted from the airport with injuries.

08/21/19 Officers responded to a property damage car accident at the corner of E. Culver Road and S. Heaton Street.

08/22/19 Officers were notified of a truck in a ditch at 100 S. and 250 E. in Knox. The driver was outside of the vehicle and appeared to be ok.

08/22/19 A Walkerton business owner said his work trailer was parked at a work site and the security camera showed suspects breaking into the trailer. An audible alarm scared them off.

08/23/19 A Walkerton resident told dispatchers that some unknown person(s) attempted to break into his garage.

08/23/19 A semi vs. deer accident was reported at U.S. 35 and State Road 10

08/23/19 A Bass Lake resident alerted dispatchers that the neighbors haven’t been there for a while and a padlock securing the property was cut and someone gained entry into the property.

08/24/19 A structure fire was reported in the 3000 block of 900 E. in Grovertown.

08/24/19 A resident in Knox asked for an officer after he found a person hiding under a blanket in a car at his family member’s home. No one was supposed to be at the residence.

08/24/19 A pick-up vs train accident was reported on U.S. 30 and 1100 E. in Grovertown. According to the notes on the log, it appeared the train was only going 10 mph at the time a pickup tried to race the train to the crossing. No injuries were reported.

08/24/19 A North Judson resident told police that when he returned hom, his door was kicked in and several items were missing from his home including an expensive watch.

08/24/19 A vehicle accident was reported along County Road 210 at Bass Lake.

08/25/19 A multiple vehicle accident was reported on U.S. 421 and Ann Street in San Pierre. A teenager was flown from the scene.

08/25/19 A car vs. deer accident was reported in the 5000 E. block of 650 S. in Knox.

08/25/19 A vehicle was found in a ditch in the 5000 E. block of 200 S. in Knox.
