2/18/16 – A vehicle versus deer accident was reported near Grovertown Truck Stop on U.S. 30.

2/18/16 – A two-vehicle property damage accident was reported at the intersection of 300 North and 1100 East in Plymouth.

2/18/16 – A purse was reported stolen from a parked vehicle in the 4100 block of south 800 West in North Judson.

2/18/16 – A Knox resident reported fraudulent activity on her debit card.

2/19/16 – The Hamlet Police Department and Starke County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a report of sexually-oriented text messages sent to a 14-year-old Starke County resident over the weekend.

2/19/16 – The Starke County Sheriff’s Office, Hamlet Fire Department, Hamlet Police Department and Starke County EMS responded to a report of an overturned semi on U.S. 35 south of U.S. 30.

2/19/16 – A San Pierre woman reported her car stolen. She advised her daughter has been using it and will not bring it back and she was told to report it stolen.

2/19/16 – A vehicle versus deer crash was reported at the intersection of State Roads 10 and 23.

2/19/16 – A resident in the 11800 block of East South Ave. in Walkerton reported the theft of golf clubs from a shed.

2/19/16 – A vehicle versus deer crash was reported in the 1800 block of Fernwood Dr. in Knox.

2/20/16 – Officers were called to the south end of Lombardy Lane in Knox for a report of someone setting off fireworks.

2/21/16 – Officers were called to IU Health Starke Hospital regarding the possible sexual assault of a minor. An investigation is ongoing.

2/21/16 – The caretaker of the Bass Lake Cemetery in Knox found meth trash and notified the sheriff’s office.

2/21/16 – A vehicle versus deer crash was reported on U.S. 35 in front of Badell Dental Clinic in Knox.
