07/09/18 A Walkerton resident reported the theft of a mailbox.

07/09/18 A resident told police that someone pulled into the parking lot at the new Dollar General store in Knox and dumped two dogs there. He did call the Starke County Humane Society about the incident.

07/19/18 A North Judson resident reported the attempted theft of her puppy.

07/09/18 A single car accident was reported on U.S. 35 and 500 S. in Knox.

07/09/18 A Knox resident reported that the resident’s stolen dogs were seen on the Starke County Humane Society’s website.

07/09/18 A Walkerton resident complained of an ongoing issue with the neighbor’s dog.

07/10/18 A Hamlet man reported the theft of a lawn mower.

07/10/18 A North Judson resident told police that a man has been standing at the end of his driveway for about 20 minutes with his eyes closed and mouth open.

07/10/18 A two vehicle accident was reported at U.S. 35 and Miller’s Auto in Knox.

07/11/18 A Knox resident told police that his neighbor’s pitbull came at him again.

07/11/18 A two-vehicle accident was reported at 400 S. and 750 W.

07/11/18 A car vs deer accident was reported at 200 E. north of 625 S. in North Judson.

07/11/18 The Koontz Lake Fire Department responded to controlled burn. The caller said the fire has been burning about four hours and it didn’t look like anyone was around to monitor it.

07/11/18 A Knox resident reported damage to her rental home.

07/11/18 The homeowner at a home on U.S. 35 reported another break-in.

07/12/18 An accident between a Mountain Dew truck and a passenger vehicle was reported on U.S. 421 south of State Road 10 in San Pierre.
07/12/18 Police were called to a property damage accident at State Road 10 and 1100 E. in Culver.

07/12/18 A North Judson resident reported vandalism to his pool.

07/12/18 A car vs. mailbox accident was reported in the 8300 block of south 50 W. in North Judson.

07/12/18 A caller said a vehicle hit the guard rail on 500 S. just west of State Road 39. The driver left the vehicle near the location with two flat tires. The car did sustain damage.

07/12/18 An accident was reported on Range Road, a half-mile south of State Road 8 in Knox.

07/13/18 A car vs. deer accident was reported in the 4500 block of north 600 E.

07/13/18 A Knox resident reported the theft of a license plate.

07/13/18 A Winamac resident reported the theft of a paper license plate.

07/14/18 A car vs. deer accident was reported on 500 E. just north of 200 S. in Knox.

07/14/18 A North Judson resident told police that someone attempted to break into her home. There is a bullet hold in the siding of her house.

07/14/18 A two-vehicle property damage accident was reported at 700 E. and 100 N. in Knox.

07/15/18 The Washington Township Trustee asked for police assistance as vandalism was done to the Washington Township Fire Department.

07/15/18 A Knox resident requested an officer in reference to stolen chickens and supplies.

07/15/18 A Grovertown resident told police that two people are running around the yard pounding on the house.

07/10/18 Joshua Scott, 19, of Noble County, booked as a courtesy hold for Pulaski County.

07/12/18 Shawn Heck, 31, of Knox, held for Starke County Court Services.

07/12/18 Edward Schroeder, 44, of San Pierre, arrested on a bench warrant and a preliminary charge of resisting law enforcement.

07/13/18 Andrew Heckaman, 33, of Walkerton, arrested on preliminary charges of dealing in methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia.

07/13/18 Amber Rippe, 35, of Culver, arrested on preliminary charges of dealing in methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia.
