Incidents:

07/30/18 A car vs. deer accident was reported on 800 S. and Range Road in Knox.

07/30/18 A Monterey resident reported a burglary. He told police that when he returned hom that the door was broken and items were missing, including weapons.

07/30/18 A Knox resident told police that she came home and found her inside garage door open and kitchen door open.

07/30/18 Residents in the Corey Drive and 500 E. area in Knox called and complained of four-wheelers.

07/30/18 A San Pierre resident reported the theft of a cell phone.

07/30/18 A resident told police that several juveniles are in the Catholic Cemetery on 500 W. in North Judson and worried that they’re vandalizing graves.

07/30/18 A Koontz Lake resident told police that her home was vandalized with eggs, toilet paper and melted chocolate.

07/31/18 An elderly North Judson woman called police to say she received a phone call from an alleged FBI agent who said a warrant was issued for her arrest. Dispatchers said it is a scam phone call and to block the phone number.

08/01/18 A Monterey resident reported a hit and run incident at the ramp at U.S. 35 and U.S. 30.

08/01/18 A former inmate told police that items were taken from her residents while she was in jail and they were pawned at the pawn shop.

08/01/18 A rollover accident was reported at 200 N. and 500 W. in North Judson. No injuries were reported.

08/01/18 A car vs. tree accident was reported in the 1200 block of S. 250 E. in Knox.

08/02/18 A two-vehicle accident was reported in the 1300 block of W. Toto Road in North Judson.

08/02/18 A two-vehicle accident was reported at 1100 E. and 400 N. in Plymouth.

08/02/18 A car vs. deer accident was reported in the 2000 block of Garba Dr. in Grovertown.

08/03/18 A Knox resident asked for an officer after she and her sons found a duffle bag on the side of the road. It reportedly contained items belonging to a deceased man from Gary.

08/03/18 A called advised dispatch that two tan cars were seen traveling north on U.S. 35 in Knox with mattresses stacked on top of them and being held by people hanging out of the windows.

08/03/18 A Koontz Lake resident reported that someone broke into her home and stole items. There was also property damage.

08/03/18 A North Judson resident told police that his house was hit by a BB gun pellet and there was damage to his house.

08/03/18 A Monterey resident reported the theft of a vehicle.

08/04/18 Bass Lake residents reported several people wearing hoodies, masks and backpacks.

08/04/18 Several thefts were reported in the Bass Lake area.

08/04/18 A Grovertown resident told police that two men came to her door asking for directions to 200 N. They remained in her driveway blocking her vehicles and looking underneath the hood of their car.

08/04/18 A Walkerton resident told police that his vehicle was damaged by his neighbors burning a mattress and items in their yard.

08/04/18 A Knox City Police Officer was involved in a two-vehicle accident on Heaton Street in Knox in front of the Knox VFW.

08/04/18 A small plane crash occurred at the Starke County Airport.

08/04/18 A Knox resident reported the theft of jewelry from a residence.

08/05/18 A car vs. deer accident was reported on 700 E. north of State Road 8 in Knox.

08/05/18 A semi vs. deer accident was reported on U.S. 30 eastbound of Hamlet

08/05/18 Two unoccupied school buses collided at the Grovertown Truck Stop.

08/05/18 A Knox resident told police that a male subject with no shirt on was sitting on the benches at Lake and Pearl Streets with a needle in his arm.

08/01/18 Taylor Barber, 21, of Lapaz, hold for Starke Circuit Court.

08/01/18 James Alvarez, of New Orleans, LA, arrested on a preliminary charge of trespassing on railroad property.

08/01/18 Warren George, 31, of Knox, arrested on a preliminary charge of check deception.

08/01/18 Chase Thomas, 21, of Argos, arrested on preliminary charges of residential entry and false informing.

08/01/18 Kenneth Kaemerer, 47, of North Judson, arrested on a bench warrant.

08/02/18 Robert Yeager, 54, of Grovertown, arrested on a preliminary charge of operating a vehicle after a lifetime suspension.

08/02/18 Jeremy Allen, 40, of Knox, arrested on an arrest warrant and preliminary charges of resisting law enforcement and battery resulting in moderate bodily injury to another person. Hold for Marshall County.

08/02/18 Theodore Wolfe, 35, of Winamac, arrested on a preliminary charge of invasion of privacy.

08/03/18 Louis Strapp, 30, of Knox, hold for Starke County Community Corrections.

08/03/18 Dallas Sheets, 19, of Hamlet, arrested on a felony arrest warrant.

08/05/18 Carl Schrum, 38, of Knox, arrested on preliminary charges of possession of paraphernalia, habitual traffic violator and possession of a narcotic drug.
