09/17/18 A caller told dispatchers that an elderly man with a red plaid shirt was walking too close to traffic on U.S. 421 and the south junction with State Road 10 in San Pierre.
09/17/18 A Walkerton resident asked to speak to police about vandalism he witnessed at his neighbor’s residence.
09/17/18 The sheriff’s department was notified of a vehicle in the ditch on 300 E. south of State Road 8 in Knox. The person was not injured, but stuck in the vehicle.
09/17/18 A two-vehicle accident was reported on State Road 8 east of 500 E. in Knox.
09/18/18 A Knox resident wanted to speak to an officer regarding the theft of a laptop.
09/18/18 A Hamlet resident notified police that her daughter was bitten by a dog. She was taken to the emergency room for treatment, but has not heard from the owner.
09/18/18 A Knox resident asked for an officer after she found her tires slashed.
09/18/18 Emergency responders were called to an accident on U.S. 30 and 125 E. in the Grovetown area.
09/18/18 A two-vehicle accident with injuries was reported on 450 S. and Range Road in North Judson.
09/18/18 A Knox resident told police that someone broke into his barn.
09/19/18 A car vs deer accident was reported on State Road 10 east of U.S. 421 in San Pierre.
09/19/18 A Knox resident complained that trash was dumped along the roadway in the 2800 block of E. State Road 8.
09/19/18 A Walkerton resident told police that someone slashed her truck tires.
09/20/18 A Knox resident told police that when he checked his wallet after it was turned into the sheriff’s department he noticed several items missing.
09/20/18 A caller told police that his mother jumped from his car in the area of U.S. 30 and U.S. 35 in Hamlet. He said that she is highly intoxicated and was almost hit by several cars.
09/21/18 A North Judson resident told police that the neighbor’s dog attempted to attack her in the street. She said it’s been an ongoing issue.
09/22/18 A Knox resident asked to speak to an officer regarding vandalism.
09/22/18 A two-car accident was reported at 750 W. and 400 S. in North Judson.
09/23/18 A car vs deer accident was reported on State Road 23 north of Koontz Lake.
09/23/18 Emergency responders were called to a Grovertown residence after receiving a notification of a tree falling on a man.

09/19/18 Alfred Higdon, 46, of Knox, arrested on preliminary charges of resisting law enforcement, burglary while armed with a deadly weapon or results in serious bodily injury, possession of paraphernalia and criminal mischief.
